I was a peer mentor at Southern Utah University. I helped new students become acquainted with the school and develop good study habits. I was a volunteer missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 18 months so I have a lot of experience with teaching people. I served in Japan so I am fluent in Japanese and would love to be a Japanese tutor, or help a native Japanese student. In high school I was an honor student and sterling scholar. I am still an honor student in college now and I have been on the Dean's List. I want to be a tutor because I want to help other students get good grades, I think it would be fun, and I think I would be a great tutor!
